The origin of super humans

25 July, 2016

The Olympic Games are a very big and important event for people. They are proof that effort, dedication, and passion are some of the best qualities human beings can have.

This year Brazil is hosting the event in Rio de Janeiro, from August 1st to 21th, and the Paralympics will be in September, from the 7th to the 18th.

If you think that being the best in a sport is hard and takes a lot of practice, having a disability makes it even more challenging — but not impossible.

Brazil’s TV channel 4 decided to create the campaign for paralympics with an emotional and fun video full of inspiring stories (the song was recorded in Abbey Road Studios, by the way).

Thus, this campaign called “We’re the super humans” is here to inspire each one of us and remind us that disabilities are not an impediment to our goals. It shows us where super humans come from. We always think that people must have superpowers to be super human; well, these people do have power, the power to teach the world that you don’t need to be “perfect” to be the best.

Once more, storytelling is a tool that you should definitely use in your branding strategy. Finding stories that identify with your brand is not hard, because we all have something to share. You just need to chase the best for your brand and share it, in a creative way, with your audience.

When you believe in yourself, and communicate it to your audience, they’ll believe in you too. Once this happens, your only job is to constantly remind them why they decided to believe in you. That doesn’t mean you should saturate their emails or social media with offers or messages of gratitude; details are better when they’re a surprise.

What you need to learn from this campaign is that “there are no impossible dreams,” we just need to work for it. Include more stories that touch emotions, include more #BRAIN_DING.
